Hey all!
1) I realize it is January in Indiana, so a blossoming field of dandelions makes no sense, but a girl can dream can't she?
2) I am creating this blog for all of the people curious about what I am up to this month! I have received the uber cool opportunity to intern at WFYI in Indy as a Communication Intern. The main goal of my internship is to help pull off the 12th Annual Ice Miller Indy Wine Fest. I'm super excited about the whole project and will get to see first hand all of the little things that go into being an event planner/coordinator.
3) I will try to update my blog as often as possible. Weekends not so much since I will not be working. While I will surely include personal anecdotes from time-to-time, this blog is focused on the fun I'm having and things I am learning while working at WFYI.
4) For those of you curious about where I am residing, I am the guest to a wonderful host family. They are the family of friends from church and after only 2 days with them they have made me feel right at home!
